Read Hebrews 8

Verse 6 is a powerful truth, it says that Jesus “is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.”

When a man and woman place wedding rings on their fingers, the rings actually signify that the couple is now in covenant. That means what’s his is hers, and what’s hers is his. They now belong to each other!

The word testament from the Old and New Testaments means covenant.  Praise God!  If you are a believer then you are a part of the “new covenant“ which Jesus paid the price for! This new covenant has better promises!!  This is why it’s so important for you to read the New Testament and understand the great covenant you are now a part of!!!
