1 Corinthians 1

Read 1 Corinthians Chapter 1

“Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭

The Corinthian church was apparently full of division during Paul’s time.  I promise you God hates division and strife in any church!

Folks, in any church at some point there will be differences of thought, opinions or direction of a Church.  So what do you do if you disagree?  You should first pray about it, and maybe seek clarification from the pastor or leadership. People get upset over things without really understanding the specifics. Sometimes it’s ok to just disagree and be quiet.  If I ever did feel like my spiritual life was being effected by church decision, I would quietly leave before I would not start any kind of strife and division.

Proverbs 6:16-19 speaks of 7 abominations in the sight of God with verse 19 saying “A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.  So folks, let’s always pursue and let peace lead us in our lives!!
