1 Corinthians 13

Read 1 Corinthians Chapter 13

This chapter is famously known as "the Love Chapter".  1 John 4:8 says that “God is love”.  And verses 4-8 in 1 Corinthians 13 gives us a Biblical definition of what love is.

Many years ago I was challenged by a preacher who said that if anyone would memorize and meditate these 4 verses everyday for 6 months, they would never be same.  So I did. I took my King James Version and then the Amplified version and kind of mixed them together.  I spent about 10 minutes each day and did it actually for 3 months. Folks, I am not lying.  It really did change me. Every time I acted differently from what love is, these verses just flooded my mind. To this day I know they are still etched in me. Yes, I sometimes mess up , but those verses prompted by the Holy Spirit remind me what’s right.

So I challenge you!!  Memorize and meditate verses 4-8 for at least 3 months like I did. Choose any version you like.  I promise you it will bring great change in your life!!!!
