1 Corinthians 16

Read 1 Corinthians Chapter 16

“For a great and effective (door has opened) to me, and there are many adversaries.”

‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭16:9

And Revelation 3:8 speaks of a door open

““I know your works. See, I have set before you an (open door, and no one can shut it;)"

A door is a opportunity, and we want to go through doors or opportunities as the Lord opens them for us.  I often pray like this, "Father I ask you to open doors for me that no man can shut, and shut doors that no man can open, and help me to clearly see the way to go in Jesus name!"

Recently one of my daughters applied for admission to a special program at a major university. She really wanted it  but we prayed for open and shut doors. Well, they said no, and my precious daughter cried. But I praised God and reminded her about our prayer and it was the Lord saying no to that college.  Sometimes the door is shut because God is saying,  "No,  I have something better for you!"

So folks, we have to learn to wait on the Lord and be ready when the doors open. Trust me, if you're seeking His will for your life, a door will open!!!
