1 Corinthians 6

Read 1 Corinthians Chapter 6

“Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:18‬ ‭

Ok, let’s deal with this. God is the creator of sex. God created sex for the multiplication of his children.  He created it to be a wonderful expression of love, and for it to be a very satisfying and pleasant experience for His children.  But he clearly sets guidelines for sexual activity.  It is to experienced between a man and a woman through holy matrimony—MARRIAGE!

In Galatians 5:19-21 Paul states what are the works of the flesh which is sinful actions.  Notice verse 19: “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,”  These are all sexual sins. Folks, any form of sin is dangerous.  That’s why our father God wants to protect us!  Notice also Corinthians 6:18 said it affects the body, that it sins against the body. Now think about this: your brain is part of your body. So yes, I believe sexual sin can effect a persons brain for the worse. It affects intimacy, affection and can lead to confusion. So folks, let’s stay away or flee sexual sin and practice intimacy within the guidelines of the Bible.
