1 John 2

“Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world — the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life — is not of the Father but is of the world.”

‭‭I John‬ ‭2:15-16‬ ‭

Have you ever heard a church person say “stop being worldly" or "they are so worldly".  What does that mean other than just some religious sounding term. Really it means to have more interest or passion in the things of this world or life than a interest or passion for God, the Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ!

It’s good to do some self inventory.  What do you think about most?  What do you desire and do most of the time?  Is God a part of it?

Now, don’t get me wrong.  I am going ultra strict, but if God is not a part of your daily life, something is wrong.  Folks, remember He so loves you and wants to be a part of your life. Give Him a little time each day: a little thanks, a little praise, some time in His Word.  I promise you, you will touch the heart of God!
