1 Peter 1

Peter greets the readers of this letter in verse 2   with “Grace to you and peace be multiplied.”

Now first of all, aren't you glad that God is a Multiplier!  He is a multiplier of our peace. The amplified version has a awesome description of what peace is,  "that spiritual peace to be realized in and through Christ, freedom from fears, agitating passions, and moral conflicts.”

‭‭Wow!  Peace is “freedom from fears, agitating passions and moral conflict!"  Think about that!  Our Father God does not want us full of fear, tormented by agitating thoughts, and disturbed with moral dilemmas.  Jesus said in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

‭‭

Folks, Our Father is truly on our side, and He truly desires us to walk in peace!
