1 Thessalonians 3

Read 1 Thessalonians chapter 3

“For this reason, when I could no longer endure it, I sent to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter had tempted you, and our labor might be in vain.”  I Thessalonians 3:5

Folks, we have an enemy and God does not want us ignorant of him or his schemes. So, let’s be clear as to who Satan is. This verse calls him “the tempter”. He is also called a liar, “the father of lies”,  a murderer, the accuser, and the one who deceives the whole world. But! Look what Jesus said: “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Luke 10:19

Folks, we have the victory in Jesus’ name!
