1 Timothy 2

“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, (2) for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”

‭‭I Timothy‬ ‭2:1-2

Did you know that we should pray for our government, and yes that includes the president!  From Clinton and Bush to Obama and now Trump we should pray for them, and that does not mean harm on them! Whether you like them or not God requires us to pray for them. Why you ask? So that we can live a quiet and peaceful life . I doubt very seriously that the apostle Paul agreed with Roman emperors, but that’s who he had to pray for, and you know he did, so let’s pray for our leaders !
