1 Timothy 6

“Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.”

‭‭I Timothy‬ ‭6:6-7

Have you seen how that when Egyptian pharaohs were buried they put all their treasure in their tombs. Well, it doesn’t work that way. You came into this world with nothing and you will leave with nothing. Nothing material that is, but if you have Jesus in your heart, you have eternal treasures!!!  Paul said  “Not that I was ever in need, for I have (learned)how to be content with whatever I have.”  ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:11NLT  

Another word for content is satisfied. The continuing crying for more in this fast paced world, if we are not watchful we can find ourselves dissatisfied and even complaining. It can be challenging to be content, but Jesus paid the price for us to live in the presence of God . Paul it says  “learned “ to be content, so we to can learn to be content even in difficult situations. Let’s pray today that we are growing in contemptment and peace.
