2 Corinthians 13

2 Corinthians Chapter 13

This is a interesting verse that I want to share from the Amplified Bible. Verse 5 says: “Test and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith and living your lives as [committed] believers. Examine yourselves [not me]!  Or do you not recognize this about yourselves [by an ongoing experience] that Jesus Christ is in you--unless indeed you fail the test and are rejected as counterfeit?”

‭‭ I never want to weigh you down, but let’s consider this verse. This verse uses the words "evaluate" and "examine". Occasionally I do a little spiritual inventory. Here are some inventory questions:.      • how is your walk with the Lord?      • how are your prayer and Bible times going?     • how is your marriage (if applicable)?     • are you going to church and connecting with your church family?      • are you seeking to reach out to others in any way?  Folks, none of us is perfect, but we need to be accountable to ourselves and God . Yes, there have been times I’ve gotten off track, but Proverbs 24:16  says: “The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again".  So if you find yourself off track today, just hop back up. Your Heavenly Father is eager for you to get back on track!!
