2 Corinthians Chapter 2

“lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.”

Listen up !  1 Peter 5:8 says “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

o the devil wants to have an advantage over us.  One version says “outsmart us".   But praise God!  It says we are not ignorant of his devices or schemes.  Jesus said in Matthew 10:16 that we are to be as “wise as serpents”.  Now trust me, He is talking here about the devil (see Revelation 20:2).

So folks, yes there is an enemy who is against us, but let’s not be afraid. God has placed in us the ability to be one step ahead of the devil. It’s so important that you continue to study the Word and develop a spiritual perceptiveness.  Hey, remember this: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:31
