2 Corinthians Chapter 5

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

2 Thessalonians 5:23 says that we have a spirit,soul and body.  When a person gets saved he or she becomes a new creation in Christ.  Jesus said in John chapter 3 verse 3  “that a man must be born again“.  He was speaking of your spirit. You get saved in your spirit.

The Bible says that God is a spirit and we are made in his image.  We are a spirit, we possess a soul (soul is your mind, your will... etc), and you live in a body. Folks, we will receive a new body in the resurrection and our souls or minds are renewed or saved daily by the Word of God.  If you are a new creation in Christ, your spirit, the real you, will live forever and ever with Christ!!!
