2 Corinthians Chapter 8

In this chapter Paul discusses the collection and sending of a offering to the Christians in Jerusalem. Paul is well aware that people could accuse him of mishandling these funds earmarked for the suffering saints of Jerusalem, but Paul has taken precautions and says in verses 20-21, “We are taking precaution so that no one will [find anything with which to] discredit us in our administration of this generous gift. For we have regard for what is honorable [and above suspicion], not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.”

‭‭

Paul had also said in 2 Corinthians Chapter 6:3

“We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed.”  Folks, as we all know there have been scandals and unfortunate events that have rocked the church and presented Christianity in a bad light. This is why we should live beyond reproach!  Remember, the only Bible some people will read is your life! Let’s let Jesus shine bright in us!!
