Colossians chapter 2

Read Colossians Chapter 2

Notice verse 7, “rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith."  Now let’s compare this with Mark 4:17, “and they have no root in themselves, and so endure only for a time.  Afterward, when tribulation or persecution arises for the Word’s sake, immediately they stumble.”

‭‭

In Mark, Jesus is teaching about the seed being the Word and how the devil comes to steal the Word out of your heart. Notice it says in Mark “they have no root".  That’s why he can steal!  Root is the same as foundation.  We need to keep building a strong foundation in Jesus “rooted and built up in Him”.  Please, please keep reading and putting the Word in your heart!!
