“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.” Philippians 2:5-7
Jesus truly laid it all aside and became a servant! And notice it says, “let this mind be in you”. That means that we should have a servant's mind. So what does that mean? It means we should consider the needs of our brothers and sisters in the Lord first! On the night of the last supper, Jesus washed the disciples' feet and spoke of being servants to each other. He said in John 13:35, “By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” Let’s show our love by being servants to each other!
