Read 2 Timothy 4

“As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.”

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭NLT

Paul knew that his life on earth was about to end, but he also knew he had finished God's plan for his life.  I believe that Jesus said to Paul when entered heaven, “Well done, my good and faithful servant."  This has always been a strong desire of mine to say what Paul said and to hear the Lord say those words to me.  I had a interesting moment many years ago.  I was pondering how I wanted Jesus to say to me “well done“ when all of a sudden He showed me that He wanted to say those words to me more than I wanted to hear them. Wow! Think about that! Jesus is wanting to say that us!  So while we have our lives on this earth let’s seek and serve our wonderful Savior with our whole hearts!!
