Oh, how I love verse 15, “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.”

‭‭

I learned this truth early on in my Christian life, that even if I didn’t feel like it, or didn’t feel worthy, I could still offer up a sacrifice of praise! What would happen is that I would receive joy.  I still practice this regularly. It does not matter how I feel. I begin to praise and offer up thanksgiving.

Isaiah 61:3 speaks of "the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness."  You see folks, the sacrifice of praise is a powerful weapon of God to conquer depression, discouragement, and anything else the enemy brings against us. Today let's praise him, and thank him for his many blessings - especially our salvation!!
