Read Titus 3

Titus 3:5

“he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit."

Now say this after me!  I am not saved by being good. I am not saved by being good. You might need to say it many many times!

Ephesians 2:8-9 says “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

You might say “oh I know this,” but I am telling you it has to be revelation in your spirit. This “works thing“ has a way of sneaking in. How many times have I felt unworthy because of not praying or reading enough or witnessing. How many times have I withdrawn from God because I sinned and felt shame to be in His presence. Folks! He chose you!  You didn’t choose Him. He loved us while we were sinners, and He won’t stop! Stop trying to be good enough, and keep growing in His amazing grace!!
