Romans 5

“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will (reign in life) through the One, Jesus Christ.)”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:17

Let’s look at the word “reign“.  It means to rule or reign like a king.  Revelation 1:6 says that Jesus “has made us (kings)and priests to His God and Father”.

If we are made to be kings, then what are we ruling over?  I believe in context to this chapter that He is addressing sin and death. However, I do believe that there is a greater meaning here; that Gods wants us to reign in many aspects of our lives. But I want to focus on sin at this time.  We don’t have to be slaves to sin.  I am telling you God wants us to have victory over sin! Yeah, I know it can be a struggle, but just keep following Jesus and growing in Him.  In time you will not be dominanted by sin, your flesh, this world or the devil.

Remember Romans 8:37 “Yet in all these things we are more than (conquerors) through Him who loved us.”

I have struggled at times In my life against some real giants! Sinful giants! And yes, I fell sometimes, but I kept getting up. I believed God wanted me to have victory! I have by the grace of God defeated some big time giants in my life. I am not a slave to this world or the devil. I am more than a conqueror!!! And so are you.  Just keeping believing!
