Titus 2

“... who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.”

‭‭Titus‬ ‭2:14

We must never forget that Jesus laid down his life for us!  The book of Hebrews 9:22 says, “... and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.”  Jesus was a man, but he was also God in the flesh, and He was willing to shed His blood for us. Why?  We were all sinners without Christ, so why?  Because He loves us!  That’s the simple answer. How do we wrap our heads around that? You just can’t, except to say He is the most awesome, wonderful, kind, precious, loving and merciful person you could ever meet . As I write this today I am brought to tears over His love for me. My strong prayer for you is that you grow more and more in your understanding of His great love!
